another 7″ or so of snow

another 7″ or so of snow

Sutton MA has another 7″ or so of snow, on top of the 3″ from a few days ago, on top of the 14″ we had before – the snow has all settled / compacted to 21″ total!

What’s interesting is the original 14″ of snow was the snowball snow type – nice to walk in, easy to shovel. Then the 3″ that came afterward got iced and it was the ‘hard topped’ snow – the type of snow that has a crisp layer on top that makes it harder to walk on. Then this fresh snow came down. So we actually have layers of snow out there that are distinct!

Even though it snowed this morning, it’s now a bright, sunny day, blue skies, 29F!
