Here’s me receiving the bronze medal for Birch Blackguards – the second in my Sutton Mass Mystery series. Note how I’m leaning away from the standard “model male” they inserted into every female’s photo. Why is he there? Am I not somehow “good enough” if I’m just there with my book?
