Labor Day - 2013Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin star in this romantic thriller. It's set in a quiet town in New Hampshire, but pretty much all of the filming is done in various places in Massachusetts. This write-up is spoiler free.

Our lovely rural town of Sutton primarily figures in the flashbacks of what Josh's character, Frank's, life was like before he met Kate.
The scenes here were shot at Whittier Farms, right at the main building / farm stand on Douglas Road. You can even see the main sign for Whittier Farms in this first image.

Sadly, the movie doesn't even bother to credit Whittier Farms or Sutton at all for their help!
It's an interesting movie to watch - and then you can go to Whittier Farms and stand where the actors stood!
