Marion's Camp Sutton MA
As of August 2010 Marion's Camp was quite disgraceful. Parents with children could not safely bring their children down to the "town beach". Elderly grandparents could not safely accompany those children to the water's edge!
Not only that, but the water itself was not safe!

The signage was a little week - a tiny green sign on the main road.

You had to get to the end of the residential road to realize you were at the camp - which didn't say it was the town beach.

The sign at the beach area was not very inviting.

The building on site looked like it came from a Halloween movie.

There was a sign telling you what to pay - but not where or when.

The sign saying "this is how beautiful the beach will be!" was faded and ripped.

Again, the view of the mysterious "welcome sign".

I realize it's hard to see, but this path was VERY steep, very rocky, and the port-o-potty was the only sign of civilization.

Still, a number of brave souls came to use this location.

You really would not want to risk this path with a walker or a wheelchair.
